New Delhi , the 31st August 1964
S.O. 2986. The following Order made by the President on August 31 , 1964 , is published for general information : -
ORDER
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( 3 ) of article 77 of the Constitu- tion , the President hereby makes , with effect from 1st September , 1964 , the following amendments in the Government of India (Allocation of Business ) Rules , 1961 , namely: -
In the said Rules , in the Second Schedule--
( 1) under the heading , " Ministry of External Affairs " ,
( a) the existing entry 15 shall be omitted ,
(b ) for the existing entry 16 , the following entry shall be substituted , namely: -
" 16. Matters in respect of Pondicherry , Goa , Daman and Diu , involving relations with France and Portugal " ;
(2) under the heading , " Ministry of Home Affairs " , under ' Part III-Addi- tional subjects with regard to Union Territories ' , for the sub - heading , " ( i ) For the Union Territories of Delhi , Himachal Pradesh , Manipur and Tripura " , the following sub- heading shall be substituted , namely :-
" ( i ) For the Union Territories of Delhi , Himachal Pradesh , Manipur , Tripura , Pondicherry , Goa, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli ."
