2. The President has been pleased to appoint Shri Venkatasubba Reddy to be the Chief Minister , and to appoint on the advice of the Chief Minister- 1. Shri A. S. Kankeyan
2. Shri P. Shanmugham (member for Nedouncadou Assembly Constituency )
3. Shri V. M. C. Varadha Pillai
to be other Ministers , in the Union territory of Pondicherry , with effect from the forenoon of the 11th September , 1964.
