IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 23rd September 1964
SUBJECT . -Import of Machine Tools from U.S.S.R. , Poland , G.D.R. , Hungary , Czechoslovakia and Bulgaria .
No. 79 - ITC ( PN ) 64. It is notified for the information of Actual Users that certain provisions have been made for Import of Permissible Varieties of Machine Tools from U.S.S.R. , Poland , G.D.R. , Hungary , Czechoslovakia and Bulgaria for delivery in 1965. Against these provisions , it is proposed to consider Actual Users ' applications from the industries both in the scheduled and non - scheduled sectors including Small Scale Industries for import during 1965 .
2. The Actual Users falling under the above Categories are advised to submit their applications for licences for import of machine tools from the above named Countries in the prescribed form and manner complete in all respects to the De- velopment Officer ( Tools ) Directorate General of Technical Development imme- diately.
3. Applicatious for import of machine tools under the Capital Goods Licensing Scheme from Actual Users may also be made immediately in pursuance of this Public Notice under the normal procedure and a copy of the application may also be sent to the Development Officer ( Tools ) .
4. As soon as provisions for import of Machine Tools for other countries viz . Yugoslavia and Rumania are finalised, a further Public Notice will be issued for Information of Actual Users .
