S.O. 3522.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 261 of the Merchant Shipping Act , 1958 ( 44 of 1958 ) , the Central Government hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Transport No. S.O. 3257 , dated the 31st August , 1964 , published in Part II, section 3, sub - section ( ii ) , at pages 3537-3538 , of the Gazette of India dated the 12th Sep- tember, 1964.
