IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 30th September 1964
SUBJECT : -Import of machinery , equipment , testing apparatus , tools etc. under the E. P. scheme .
No. 84 - ITC ( PN ) /64.-Attention of the trade is invited to the Public Notice 107 - ITC (PN)/63 as amended under Public Notices Nos . 151 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 , 152 - ITC ( PN ) /63 and 2 - ITC ( PN ) / 64 , dated the 12th Decem- ended und ber , 1963 , 18th December , 1963 and 7th January , 1964 respectively on the above subject.
2. On further consideration it has , now , been decided to allow the import of the items of machinery , equipment , testing apparatus and tools , required by the gold- smiths , setters and Polishers within the permissible 10 % import entitlement for these items under the E.P. schemes subject to indigenous clearance from the D'te General of Technical Devpt . , New Delhi .
3. The above amendment will take effect from the date of issue of this Public Notice and the exports effected hereafter would qualify for the above concession .
