NOTIFICATION .
New Delhi , the 8th October , 1964.
G.S.R. 1483.- Whereas the Central Government is of opinion that it is necessary so to do for controlling the rise in prices and preventing the hoarding of indigen- ous wheat in the State of Madhya Pradesn;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section ( SA ) of section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Govest ment hereby directs that , notwithstanding anything contained in sub - section ( 8 ) of thethe said section 3 , the price at which indigenous wheat shall be sold in any locality in the State ofthe State of Madhya Pradesh inin compliance with an orderorder made with reference to clause ( f ) of sub - section ( 2 ) of the said section 3 shall be regulated in accordance with the provisions of the said sub - section ( 3A ) and also authorizes the Deputy Secretary to the Government of Madhya Pradesh in the Department of Food , to determine the average market rate of indigenous wheat in such loca- lity in the State of Madhya Pradesh aforesaid .
2. This notification shall remain in force for a period of three months .
