New Delhi , the 6th October 1964
S.R.O. 26 - E . In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses ( a) and ( b ) of the Cantonmentsents Act,Act , 1924 ( 2 of 1924 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules regulating the division of the Kamptee Canton- ment into wards and the determination of the number of members to be elected by each ward , the same having been previously published as required by the said section, namely:-
RULES
1. Short title. These rules may be called the Kamptee Cantonment ( Division into Wards) Rules , 1964.
2. Division of Cantonment into wards . For the purpose of holding elections to the Kamptee Cantonment Board , the Cantonment of Kamptee shall be divided into the following wards , namely:-
Ward No. I.
Ward No. II .
Ward No. III .
Ward No. IV .
Ward No. V.
3. Boundaries of wards. The boundaries of each of the said wards shall be as specified in the Schedule to these rules .
4. Number of members to be elected . The number of members to be elected from each of the said wards shall be as indicated below , namely:-

WARD No. I
North-West . Commencing from junction of Hospital Road and Gora Bazar Main Road near B. No. 14 extending upto Cantonment Bazar Boundary Pillar No. 7 upto Kanhan River .
West. Commencing from Kanhan River Survey No. 1 from the junction of Military Hospital Servants ' Quarters and garden in S. No. 141 running towards North - East upto S. No. 134 near Dada Bhai Garden in Survey No. 163.
South . From S. No. 163 Garden towards Cantt . Bazar Boundary Pillar No. 2 , 1 and upto B.P. No. 14 .
South -west . From Cantt . Boundary Pillar No. 14 situated behind Convent School Compound along with Cantt . Bazar Boundary Pillars 13 , 12 , 11 and behind Bungalow No. 25 , 26 , 24 réaching the C.B.P. No. 9 and S. No. 124 at the junction of the Hospital Road behind Bungalow No. 17 ( Now Officers' Mess ) .
WARD No. II
North, Kanhan River from the junction of Sy . No. 141 running towards West upto C.B.P. 1 meeting Chindwaravara Road near C.B.P. No. 2 .
West. Commencing from Chhindwara Road on the alinement of C.B.P. No. 2 and 3 upto the junction of Chindwara Road and Royal ArtilleryArtillery Road.
South-Starting frofrom the Junction of Royalyal ArtilleryArtillery RoadRoad meeting the portion of White Road , Gaugh Road, Crossing the Mall Road and running upto the end of B. No. 25 .
East. From the point of Crossing of Gaugh Road near B. No. 25 running along the Gora Bazar 2nd Street near C.B.P. No. 9 and running towards Cantt . Bazar Boundary Pillars 8 , 7 and joining the Kanhan River near Sy . No. 141 .
WARD No. III
North. From the point commencing from the Gaugh Road near Bungalow No. 25 running towards the West by crossing the Mall , portion of White Road upto the junction of Chhindwara Road upto the alinement of C.B.P. No. 2 and 3.
West. From the crossing of the alimement of C.B.P. No. 2 and 3 from Chhindwara Road running along the C.B.P. Nos . 4, 5 , 6 , 7 , 8 and 9 meeting the Bagdura Nalla .
South. From the point meeting the Bagdura Nalla and C.B.P. No. 9 running towards the East upto the Crossing of the G.N. Road near S. No. 63 ( Garden ) .
East. From the point near the Garden S. No. 63 on G.N. Road and running along with G.N. Roadbad following Temple Road upto Mall Road near B. No. 39 running towards West of the Mall Road upto thethe ConventConvent School Bungalow No. 27.
WARD No. IV
North. Commencing from Kanhan River near Sy . No. 134 and Dada Bhoya's garden in Sy . No. 163. River running upto the end of Bungalow No. 100 ,
South . From Bagdura Nalla crossing the G.N. Road near Sy . No. 63 and running towards the East along Bagdura Nalla upto the point of G.N. Road near Sy . No. 299 near Cavalry Bazar .
East. From the point of Bagdura Nalla near meeting point of GN . Road near S. No. 299 ( Cavalry Bazar) running along the G.N. Road and portion of Old Artillery Road joining the Kanhan River near Bungalow No. 100 .
West . Commencing from the point of Kanhan River . From Garden near S. No. 134 and 164 (Dadabhoys ) and from Kanhan River running towards the South - west upto the Cantt . Bazar Boundary Pillar No. 2 , 1 and reaching upto the Mall Road near Convent School B. No. 27 .

North. Point commencing from Kanhan River near B No 100 running along the Kanhan River towards the North - east upto Kanhan Railway Bridge
East. From the point of Kanhan River crossing the GN Road at Railway Bridge and running along the river upto the Cantt Boundary Pillar No 22
South . From the point of Bagdura Nalla meeting near the GN Road at Cavalry Bazar and running along the Bagdura Nalla following Cantt Boundary Pillars No 22 to 10 and meeting the Nullah at Cavalry Bazar and GN Road
West. From the point at Bagdura Nalla meeting the GN Road and Cavalry Bazar running towards the North along the GN Road , and old Artillery Road upto Kanhan River near B No 100
