New Delhi , the 19th October 1964
G.S.R. 1515. In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( d ) of rule 8 of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat ( Recruitunent and Conditions of Service ) Rules , 1957 , the Chairman , after consultation with the Ministry of Finance , hereby makes the following further amendment in the Second Schedule to those Rules , with effect from the 19th October , 1964, namely:-
In the Second Schedule to the said Rules , under the heading " Class II Gazetted "
(1 ) for item 9 and the existing entries against it , the following shall be substituted , namely :-
Designation of post
Pay or scale of pay otherwise admissible
Pay or scale of pay admissible to pre - 1931 entrants

(Persons appointed by pro- motion are entitled to a mini- mum pay of Rs . 400) " ; and
( ii) the footnote relating to item 9 marked 't' shall be deleted.
