ORDER
New Delhi , the 25th October 1964
G.S.R. 1549.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essen- tial Commodities Act , 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby rescinds the Rice (Punjab ) Price Control Order, 1963 , published under G.S.R. 1570, dated the 27th September, 1963 , in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary [ Part II, Section 3-Sub - section ( i ) ] , dated the 27th September , 1963 :
Provided that such rescission shall not affect-
(a) the previous operation of the said Order or anything duly done ar suffered thereunder ; or
(b) any right, privilege, obligation ΟΙ liability acquired, accrued ar incurred under the said Order ; or
( c) any penalty , forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed against the said Order ; or
(d) any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation , liability , penalty , forfeiture or punish ment as aforesaid;
and any such investigation, legal proceeding or remedy may be instituted, con- tinued or enforced and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed as if the said Order had not been rescinded
