G.S.R. 1608.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2 ) of section 10 -E of the Companies Act , 1956 ( 1 of 1956 ) , the Central Government hereby ap- points Shri B. M. Mitra to be a member of Company Law Board in place of Shri M. R. Yardi , and makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue ) No. G.S.R. 177 dated the 1st February , 1964 , namely : -
In the said notification , for the entry " ( 2 ) Shri M. R. Yardi ; and " , the entry " ( 2 ) Shri B. M. Mitra ; and " shall be substituted .
