ORDER
New Delhi , the 6th November 1964
S.O. 3838. Whereas it appears to the Central Government that for the pur- pose of maintaining supplies of suger thing notuled a cssential to the life of the community in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Food and Agriculture , ( Department of Food ) No. G.S.R. 1568 , dated the 29th September , 1963 ] , it is necessary to take over the management of the undertaking known as Diamond Sugar Mills Limited, Pipraich District Gorakhpur , ( Uttar Pradesh ) .
Now, therefore , in pursuance of sub - rule ( 2 ) of tuic 125A of the Defence of India Rules , 1982 , the Central Government hereby authorises Shri J. P. Goel , Officer on Special Duty , Directorate of Sugar and Vanaspati , Ministry of Food and Agriculture , ( Department of Food ) ( hereinafter referred to as the Authorised Controller) , to take over the management of the said undertaking subject to the following terms and conditions , namely:- Agricultural
( i ) the Authorised Controller shall comply with all directions issued from time to time by the Central Government ;
(ii ) the Authorised Controller shall hold office for a ceriod of two years from the date of publication of this Order in the Official Gazette :
Provided that the Central Government may terminate the appointment of the Authorised Controller earlier if it considers necessary to do so,
( iii ) the Authorised Controller shall pay from the funds of the said under- taking such sums as the Central Government may determine from time to time by way of contribution towards the cost of the staff including his own pay , allowances , leave salary and pension contri- bution .
2. This Order shall have effect for a period of two years from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette .
