New Delhi , the 9th November 1964
S.R.O. 29 - E.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 2 of the Armed Forces ( Emergency Duties ) Act , 1947 ( 15 of 1947 ) , the Central Government hereby declares the following services to be services of vital importance to the community , namely :-
Services connected with such operations of the Cochin Port as are considered by the Commodore - in - Charge , Cochin , as essential operations .
