NOTIFICATIONS
Bombay, the 23rd November 1964
S.O. 4100.—In exercise of the powers conferred on me by Clause 22 of the Cotton Textiles (Control) Order, 1948, I hereby make the following further amendment in the Textile Commissioner's Notification No. SO. 3656, dated the 13th October, 1964, namely, in the said Notification;—
I. The existing item (ii) of paragraph 1 shall be numbered as item (iii) and the following shall be inserted as item (ii), namely:—
"(ii) the maximum ex-factory price of drill produced by a producer having a spinning plant and packed after 30th November, 1964, shall be as calculated in accordance with the formulae contained In Schedule A annexed hereto".
II. In the Explanation below paragraph 3 after item (d), the following shall be inserted, namely:—
'(e) "Drill" means any type of grey or bleached or piece-dyed cloth whether or not mercerised or pre-shrunk and having a minimum weight of 5-0 ozs. per sq. yard (169-53 ems per sq. metre) of warp and weft yarn woven in grey loom s'tate, of the following weaves, namely:—•
(1) 2/1 or 1/2 (Three harness warp or weft faced fabric). (21 3 1 or 1/3 (Four harness warp or weft faced fabric) and which Is—
(i) manufactured either wholly from cotton or partly from cotton and
partly from any other material,
(ii) Not woven with any coloured yarn. (iii) Commonly, known by that name, and includes any type of grey or bleached or piece-dyed "jean" and. "Gaberdine whether or not mercerised or pre-shrunk and manufactured in weaves specified at sub-items (1) and (2) above.'

S(H)] S.O. 4101.—In exercise of the powers conferred on me by Clause 22 of the Cotton Textiles (Control) Orderj 1948, I hereby make the following further amendments in the Textile Commissioner's Notification No, 80-Tex-l/48(ili) dated the 2nd August, 1948, namely;—In the said Notification, in paragraph 2,—
1. In item (a) for the words "Long-Cloth" or "Shirting", the words "Long- Cloth", "Shirting", or "Driir shall be substituted.
2. In item (ii) of Explanation, for the words "Long-cloth" and "Shirting", the words "Long-cloth" "Shirting" and "Driir shall be substituted.
