SUBJECT . Imports Established Importers Import of F.H.P. Motors and Non- Synchronous or Phono Attachments for Cinema machinery --pcrmitted .
No. 97 - ITC ( PN ) /64. Attention is invited to Appendix 31 of the current Red Book in which the licensing policy for import of Cinema machinery and parts thereof has been indicated ,
2. It has been represented by the Cinematographic Trade that they have been experiencing difficulties in maintaining the old CinemaCinema Machinery and for want of F.H.P. Motors and Non- Synchronous or Phono Attachments and that the same may be allowed to be imported by Established Importers against their quota licences for Cinema machinery and parts thereof .
3. The matter has been considered and it has been decided that the FH.P. Motors and Non - Synchronous attachments required for the maintenance of Cinema machinery and equipment may be allowed to be imported by Established Impor- ters upto 1.5 % of the face value of the quota licences for the under- mentioned S. Nos.:-
(1) S. No. 65 ( 1-4 ) ( ii ) ( 1 ) /V.-Sound and Projection Reproduction equip- ment 1/4 H.P. and above .
(ii ) S. No. 65 ( 1-4 ) ( ii ) ( ii ) /V. Sound and Projection Reproduction equip- ment under 1/4 HP.
( iii ) S. No. 65 ( 1-4 ) ( ii ) ( iii ) / V. Film studio equipment .
(iv) S. No. 65 ( 5 ) ( 1 ) ( i ) /V. Spare parts of Sound and Projection Reproduc- tion equipment 1/4 H.P. and above.
(v) S. No. 65 ( 5 ) ( i ) ( ii ) /V.-Spare parts of Sound and Projection Reproduc- tion equipment 1/4 H.P.
(vi ) S. No. 85 ( 5 ) ( 1 ) ( iii ) /V.--Spares of Film studio equipment .
