SUBJECT : -Scheme for licensing of cotton textiles for export to the U.K. frony India- Quota for the half - yearly period 1st December , 1964 to 31st May, 1965 .
No. P.N. ( U.K. LICENSING ) / 11 of 1964 .-- Attention is invited to Public Notice No. P.N. ( U.K. Licensing ) / 8 of 1964 dated the 2nd December , 1964 , on the above subject .
2. The subject as stated above may be substituted for the subject given in the Public Notice dated the 2nd December , 1964,
3. Para 1 of the Public Notice may be amended to read as under : -
" 1. The Scheme relates to the export , under the quota for the half - yearly period 1st December , 1964 to 31st May , 1965 from India to the U.K. , of cotton manufactures whether in the piece or made - up including gar ments but excluding cotton carpets , cotton rugs , cotton durries , cotton shawls and all handloom manufactures . "
4. Para 2 of the Public Notice may be amended to read as under: - "2. For purposes of licensing , the shipment period will be from 1st Decem- ber , 1964 to 31st May , 1965" .
