NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi , the 16th December , 1964
G.S.R. 1808. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 3 ) of section 1 of the Food Corporations Act , 1964 ( 37 of 1964) , the Central Government hereby appoints the 17th day of December, 1964 , as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.

G.S.R. 1809.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 3 of the Food Corporations Act, 1964 ( 37 of 1964) , the Central Government hereby establishes for the purposes of the said Act a Corporation known as the Food Corporation of India, with effect from the 1st day of January , 1965 .
