New Delhi , the 19th December 1964
SUBJECT : -Scheme for licensing of cotton textiles of restricted varieties for export to the U.S.A. during the year 1964-65 .
No. P.N. ( U.S.A . Licensing ) / 12 of 1964.- Reference is invited to Public Notice No. P. N. (U.S.A. Licensing ) /6 of 1964, dated the 1st June, 1964 issued by the former Ministry of International Trade , Newade, New Delhi .
2. At the end of paragraph VII of the said Public Notice , the following proviso is hereby added :-
"Provided , however , that the U.S.A. Textile Advisory Committee may, if considered necessary by it , allot, with the concurrence of the Textile Commissioner , quotas to established exporters for export of any or all of the restricted categories on a basis other than that specified hereinabove" .
