NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 19th December 1964
S.O. 4302. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 40 of the Defence of India Act , 1962 ( 51 of 1962 ) the Central Government hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under rule 126 of the Defence of India Rules , 1962 , shall also be exercisable by the Governments of the States of Bihar , Gujarat , Kerala , Madras , Mysore and Uttar Pradesh.
