IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi, the 23rd December 1964
SUBJECT :—Import of Cinematograph films, exposed (S. No. 117/IV)—Grant of Supplementary licences to established importers for the period April 1964—March 1965.
No. 99-ITC(PN)/64.—Attention of the importers is invited to the import policy for 'Cinematograph films, exposed' falling under S. No. 117/IV of the I.T.C. Schedule as given in Section II of the current Red Book, according to which the import of this item is allowed by Established Importers on a quota of 10% during April 1964— March 1965 period.
2. It has now been decided to allow import of additional 'Cinematograph films, exposed' by Established Importers provided such films have won awards at the major international festivals or are otherwise considered to be films of good duality.
3. Applications for grant of supplementary licences for Cinematograph films, exposed should be submitted in the usual form and manner to the Chief Controller of Imports and Exports, New Delhi as early as possible but not later than the 9th January, 1965. The applicants should also furnish along with the applications additional information as indicated In the Annexures I and II to this Public Notice.
