NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 23rd December 1964
S.O. 4374.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act , 1955 (10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Cotton Control Order , 1955 , namely :-
(1) This Order may be called the Cotton Control (Amendment ) Order , 1964 .
(2 ) In the Cotton Control Order , 1955-
(1) In clause 2 , after paragraph ( h ) the following paragraph shall be inserted; namely-
" (hh) "Kapas" means unginned cotton; " ;
( ii) in sub - clause ( 1 ) of clause 13 , after the word " ginned " the words " or pressed" shall shall be inserted .
