ORDER
New Delhi , the 26th December 1964
G.S.R. 1846.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following Order furtherto amend the Southern States ( Regulation of Export of Rice ) Order , 1964 , namely :-
1. This Order may be called the Southern States ( Regulation of Export of Rice) Second Amendment Order , 1964 .
2. It shall come into force on the first day of January , 1965 .
3. In clause 4 of the Southern States ( Regulation of Export of Rice ) Order, 1964 , in paragraph ( v ) , the word " or " shall be inserted at the end ; and after that paragraph, the following paragraph shall be added , namely :-
" ( vi ) by or on behalf of the Food Corporation of India established under section 3 of the Food Corporations Act , 1964 ( 37 of 1964 ) . "
