New Delhi, the 2nd January 1955
G.S.R. 37.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2), read with clauses (a), (b), (d) and (e) of sub-section (1), of section 7 of the Food Corpora- tions Act, 1964 (37 of 1964), the Central Government hereby appoints the following persons in the board of directors of the Food Corporation of India established under the said Act, namely:—
Chairman, appointed under section 7(l)(a)
(1) Shri T. A. Pai, Managing Director, Syndicate Bank Limited, Manipal.
(Mysore State).
Directors appointed under section 7(l)(b)
(2) Shri Krishan Chand, Director General (Food) and Additional Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Food and Agriculture (Depart- ment of Food), New Delhi.
(3) Shri B. N. Adarkar, Additional Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, (Department of Economic Affairs), New Delhi.
(4) Shri N. P. Chatterj L, Joint Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Community Development and Co-operation, (Department of Co-operation), New Delhi.

(5) Shri C. Narasimham, Officer on Special Duty (Managing Director), Ministry of Food and Agriculture, (Department of Food), New Delhi.

The appointment of another director under clause (e), of sub-section (1) of the said section 7. will be notified separately.
