G.S.R. 279. In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( b ) of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 40 of the Defence of India Act , 1962 (51 of 1962 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the powers conferred on it by sub - rule (4 ) of rule 154 of the Defence of India Rules , 1962 , shall be exercisable also by the Government of Kerala in respect of Orders made by that Government under rule 125 of the said rules in relation to foodstuffs ,
