S.O. 709.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2 ) of section 1 of the Wealth - tax (Amendment ) Act , 1964 ( 46 of 1964 ) , the Central Governinent hereby appoints the 1st day of April , 1965 as the date on which the sald Act shall come into force .
