ORDER
New Delhi , the 2nd March 1965
G.S.R. 386.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Essential Commodities Act , 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the powers conferred on it by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 3 of the said Act to make orders to provide for the matters specified in clause (d ) of sub - section ( 2 ) of that section,section, shalls be exercisable also by the Government of the State of Uttar Pradesh in relation to regulation of movement of paddy andand rice within the said State .
2. The provisions of this Order shall have effect notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Food and Agriculture ( Department of Food ) No. G.S.R. 888 dated the 28th June, 1961 .
