S.O. 767. In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the Life Insurance Corporation Act, 1956 ( 31 of 1956 ) the Central Government hereby appoints Shri B. D. Pande , Additional Secretary and Gold Control Administrator , Department of Revenue to be the Chairman of the Life Insurance Corporation of India with effect from the forenoon of 2nd March , 1965 , vice Shri B. K. Kaul .
