CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi , the 3rd April , 1965
G.S.R. 545. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue ) No. 49 / 65 - Central Excises dated the 28th February , 1965 , the Central Government hereby exempts extruded shapes and sections of aluminium including extruded pipes and tubes manufactured out of duty paid aluminium in any crude form or aluminium manu- factures from so much of the duty of excise leviable on such extruded shapes or sections of aluminium under sub - item ( d ) of Item No. 27 of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act , 1944 ( 1 of 1944) as is equivalent to the duty already paid on the aluminium in crude form or , as the case may be , on the alumi- nlum manufactures under sub -item ( a) or sub - item ( b ) of the said Item or the customs duty under section 2A of the Indian Tariff Act . 1934 (32 of 1934 ) , as the case may be .
