G.S.R. 567 - In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( b ) of sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 40 of the Defence of India Act , 1962 ( 51 of 1962 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under sub - rule ( 4 ) of rule 30 of the Defence of India Rules , 1962 , in respect of persons in the State of Maharashtra , who have been directed by the Central Government , under clause (b) of sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 30 of the Defence of India Rules , to be detained , shall also be exercisable by the Government of the State of Maharashtra .

G.S.R. 568. In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( b ) of sub - section (1 ) of section 40 of the Defence of India Act , 1962 ( 51 of 1962 ) , the President hereby directs that the powers exercisable by the Central Government under sub- rule ( 4 ) of rule 30 of the Defence of India Rules , 1962 , in respect of persons in the State of Kerala , who have been directed by the Central Government , under clause (b ) of sub- rule ( 1 ) of rule 30 of the Defence of India Rules , to be detained , shall also be exercisable by the Government of the State of Kerala .
