New Delhi , the 15th April 1965
G.S.R. 592. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , the Central Government , being satisfled that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts soya bean oil, falling under Item No. 15 ( 6 ) of the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act, 1934 (32 of 1934 ) , when imported into India , from so much of the customs duty as is leviable thereon under section 2A of the second mentioned Act .
