NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 7th May 1965
S.O. 1511. The following draft of certain notification to amend the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 771 , dated the 6th March , 1965 , which the Central Government , after considering the recom- mendations of the Export Inspection Council in this behalf . proposes to issue in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Export ( Quality Control and Inspection ) Act , 1963 ( 22 of 1963 ) , is hereby published for general information as required by sub - rule ( 6 ) of rule 11 of the Export ( Quality Control and Inspeс- tion) Rules , 1964 and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration on or after the 7th June , 1965. Any objection or suggestion with respect to the said draft received before the aforesaid date will be considered by the Central Government .
Draft Amendment
In the said notification, for sub - paragraph ( 4 ) of paragraph 1 , the following sub - paragraph shall be substituted , namely:-
" ( 4) prohibits the export in course of international trade of fish and fish products unless the same is accompanied by a certificate issued by the Director , Central Institute of Fisheries Technology , Ernakulam or-
(a) any other officer of that institute ; or
(b ) any officer of any of the Government Technological Laboratories situated at the ports of export ;
authorised in this behalf by the aforesaid Direct or to the effect that the fish and fish products conform to the specifications as set out in the said Annexure ."
