SUBJECT :—Import of Machinery, Componentsthereof,equipment, other commodities and raw materials

from U.S.A. under AID Loan No. 103.

No. 35-I.T.C.(PN)/65:-Attention is invited to clause (vi) of the Appendix to the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 52 —ITC(PN)/64, dated the 24th June, 1964 on the above subject. The Annexure V to the said Public Notice as revised by Public Notice No. 98-ITC(PN)/64, dated the 21st December 1964 shall be deemed to have been substituted with immediate effect by a further revised Annexure V (enclosed herewith) which contains an up to-datelist of U.S. parties interested in the supply of items mentioned in Annexure IV of the Public Notice No. 52-ITC(PN)/ 64, dated the 24th June, 1964 as amended from time to time.

2. Importers should specialy note that the procurement procedure as prescribed in clause (vi) of the Appendix to the above mentioned Public Notice No. 52-ITC(PN)/64i dated the 24th June, 1964 will apply only to licences governed by that Public Notice, where importers hold licences issued to them from 1-4-1965 onwards under AID Loan No. 103 (one other U.S. AID non-Project Loans), those licences will be subject to the conditions set out in Public Notice No. 27-ITC-PN)/65, dated the 14th April, 1965 under which Notice to U.S. Business" is applicable to all procurements irrespective of the item of import.
