NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 9th June 1965
G.S.R. #31- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 38 of the Defence of India Act , 1962962 ( 51 of 1962 ), thethe Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Defence of India ( Requisitioning and Acquisition of Immovable Property) Rules, 1962 , namely: -
1. These rules may be called the Defence of India (Requisitioning and Acquisi- tion of Immovable Property ) Amendment Rules , 1965 .
2. In rule 3 of the Defence of India (Requisitioning and Acquisition of Immov- able Property) Rules , 1962 , for sub-clause ( iii) of clause (b ) , the following sub-clause shall be substituted , namely: --
"( iii) any officer or authority authorised by the Central Government or a State Government by notification in the Official Gazette to exercise or perform, in such circumstances and under such conditions , if any , as may be specified in the notification , the powers or duties of the com- petent authority under any provision of these rules; " .
