NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 9th June 1962
G.S.K. 181.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 38 of the Defence of India Act, 1962 (51 of 1962 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Defence of India ( Requisitioning and Acquisition of Immovable Property) Rules , 1962 , namely:-
1. These rules may be called the Defence of India ( Requisitioning and Acquisi tion of Immovable Property) Amendment Rules , 1965 .
2. In rule 2 of the Defence of India ( Requisitioning and Acquisition of Immov- able Property) Rules , 1962, for sub-clause ( iii ) of clause (b) , the following sub-clause shall be substituted , namely:-
"( ill) any officer or authority authorised by the Central Government or a State Government by notification in the Official Gazette to exercise or perform , in such circumstances and under such conditions , if any, as may be specified in the notification , the powers or duties of the com petent euthard under any provision of these rules ;" .
