8.0. 2136. In pursuance of the provisions of section 67 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the following declaration containing the name of the candidate elected in the constituency referred to therein, is published for general information:-

Election to fill Casual Vacancy
"In pursuance of Section 66 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 , I declare that Sri Mali Mariyappa , 38 - Jayasree , Vyali Kaval, Bangalore - 3 , has been duly elected by the 19th Tumkur Parliamentary Constituency to fill the vacancy in the House of the People caused by the resignation of Sri Ajit Prasad Jain .
