8.0 . 2149.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 39 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 ( 14 of 1947 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the powers conferred on it under sub - section ( 1 ) of section 34 of the said Act , shall , In respect of offences punishable under sections 26 , 27 , and 28 of that Act, în relation toto any strike in any banking company in the State of Andhra Pradesh , be exercisable also by the Government of that State for a period of six months .
