New Delhi , the 5th July , 1965 .
S.O. 2154.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 39 of the Industrial Disputes Act , 1947 ( 14 of 1947 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the powers conferred on it under sub - section ( 1 ) of section 34 of the said Act , shall , In respect of offences punishable under sections 26, 27 and 28 of that Act , in rela- tion to any strike in any banking company in the State of Uttar Pradesh, be ex- ercisable also by the Government of that State for a period of six months .
