New Delhi , the 10th July 1965
S.O. 2216. Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce and Industry No. S.O. 1718, dated the 11th July, 1960, read with the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce and Industry No. S.O. 1982 , dated the 11th July 1963 , the management of the under- taking known as the India Electric Works Limited , Calcutta, has been taken over for a period upto and inclusive of the 10th July , 1965 ;
And whereas the Central Government is of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the management of the said undertaking should be continued for a further period of one year;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub- section ( 2 ) of section 18A of the Industries ( Development and Regulation ) Act , 1951 ( 65 of 1951 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the Order first mentioned above shall continue to have effect for a further period of one year from the 11th July , 1965 .
