S.O. 2219. In pursuance of the provisions of section 67 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the following declaration containing the name of the candidate elected in the constituency referred to therein , is published for general information :--

In pursuance of section 66 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , I declare that Shri H. C. LINGA REDDY of Door No. 9 , IX Cross , Kumara Park West Extension , Bangalore , has been duly elected by the 20 - Chickballapur Parlia- mentary Constituency to fill the vacancy occurred under clause ( 1 ) of article 158 of the Constitution consequent the appointment of Shri K. C. Reddy as Governor . on
