NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 25th August 1965
S.O. 3694.—The following draft of a notification which the Central Govern- ment, after considering the recommendations of the Export Inspection Council in this behalf, proposes to issue under section 6 of the Export (Quality Control & Inspection) Act, 1963 (22 of 1963), is hereby published for general informa- tion as required by sub-rule (6) of rule 11 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Rules, 1964.
Notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration on or after the 25th September, 1965, and that any objection or suggestion with respect to the same received before the aforesaid date will be considered by the Central Government.

806 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PJWT U-Sec, 8(ii)J (2) specifies the inspection In accordance with the Export of Enamel- wares (Inspection) Rules, 1905, as the type of inspection which will be applied to enamelware prior to their export; "(3) recognises the Indian Standard IS: 3149-1963 for enamelware Issued by the Indian Standards Institution as the standard specification for enamelwart;; and
(4) prohibits the export, in the course of international traae, of enamel- ware unless a mark recognised by the Central Government has beetf affixed or applied to 3uch enamelware.
2. Nothing in this notification shall apply to the export of samples of enamel- ware to prospective buyers if njch s-triples bear the Indian Standards Institution certification mark or are accompanied by a certificate Issued by the Indian Standards Institution to the effect that such samples conform w the Indian Standard for enamelware.
3. In this notification 'enamelware' shall mean enamelware for home use.

S.O. 2695.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (6) of rule II of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Rules, 1964, the Central Govern- ment, after considering the recommendations of the Export Inspection Council in this behalf, hereby notifies that it proposes to recognise under section 8 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Act, 1963 (22 of 1963), the Indian Standards Institution Certification Mark with respect to -inamelwares for the purpose of denoting that where enamelwares or packages thereof are affixed with such mark, they shall be deemed to be in conformity with tha standard specification applicable thereto under clause (c) of section 6 of the said Act.
Explanation.—In this notification "enamelware" shall mean enamelware for home use.
2. Notice is hereby given that the aforesaid proposal will be taken into consideration on or after the 25th September, 1960, and that any objection or suggestion with respect to the same received before the date aforesaid will be considered by the Central Government.
