ORDER
New Delhi , the 10th September 1965
S.O. 2860.- Whereas the Central Government is of opinion that an emergency such asis contemplated in Section 68B of the Indian Ports Act , 1908 ( 15 of 1908 ) , has arisen;
Now , therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by the said section 68B , the Central Government hereby authorises the Fortress Commander and the Naval Officer- in- Charge at each of the places specified in column ( 1 ) of the table below and any other officer authorised by such Fortress Commander or Naval Officer - in- Charge , to exercise the powers conferred by that section in respect of the Port mentioned in the corresponding entry in column ( 2 ) of the said table and in rela- tion to the authorities mentioned in section 68A of the sald Act .
