IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 16th September 1965
SUBJECT. Procedure for considering applications for licences from Schedul- ed Industries borne on the books of Directorate General of Technical Development , for April , 1965-March , 1966 , period .
No. 82 - ITC ( PN ) /65.-Attention is invited to sub - paragraph 70 ( 5 ) of "Amend- ments to Chapter IV on Actual Users " in the booklet of Amendments to the Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules and Procedure , 1964 published vide Government of India , Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 47 - ITC ( PN ) / 65 , dated the 15th July , 1965 , wherein it is stated that the Directorate General of Technical Development will also send a copy of their recommendation to the applicant , returnng to him therewith , one copy of the list of goods applied for with such changes as may be made in the list and that the recommendation will indicate the reasons for rerejecting or reducing the amount of any item asked for .
2. It has been decided that the following sentence appearing at the end of the said sub - paragraph 70 ( 5 ) may be deleted :-
"The recommendation will indicate the reasons for rejecting or reducing the amount of any item asked for. "
3. Sub -paragraph 70 ( 5 ) of the "Amendments to Chapter IV on Actual Users " in the booklet of Amendments to the Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules and Procedure , 1964 may be deemed to have been amended accordingly .
