SUBJECT - Import Licensing policy for Vanadiun Pentoxide Catalyst during April 1965-March 1966 period .
No. 86 - ITC ( PN ) / 65 .--Attention of the Importers is invited to the licensing policy for S. No. 122 ( xxvi ) /V-Vanadium Pentoxide Cat Red Book for current period accor Catalyst in Appendix 4 to rent period according to whichwhich A.U. applications from manufacturers of sulphuric acid will be considered on the recommendation of sponsoring authority .
2. The policy for import of Vanadium Pentoxide Catalyst has been reviewed in the light of the representations received from the indigenous manufacturers and it has been decided to ban the import of Vanadium Pentoxide Catalyst ( S. No. 122 ( xxvi ) V ] by all categories of importers with immediate effect . No licences for this item will also be issued under the Export Promotion Scheme . The entries against S. No. 122 ( xxvi ) /V in Appendix 4 of the current Red Book as well as the entries under columns 3 , 5 and 6 of Section II of the Red Book may be deemed to have been deleted.
