New Delhi , the 4th October 1965
S.O. 3164. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2 ) of sec- tion 1 of the Companies ( Amendment ) Act , 1965 ( 31 of 1965 ) , the Central Gov- ernment hereby appoints the fifteenth day of October 1965 , as the date on which the provisions of the said Act other than the provisions of sections 13 and 46 thereof shall come into force .
