New Delhi , the 20th October 1965
S.O. 3332.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub- clause ( b ) of olause 2 of the Newsprint Control Order , 1962 , No. CH ( 1 ) -18 ( 1 ) /62 , dated the 17th January, 1962 , the Government of India are hereby pleased to appoint Shri D. K. Baisantry , Assistant Press Registrar , Office of the Registrar of Newspapers for India . Ministry of Information and Broadcasting , New Delhi to exercise the powers of the Controller under that Order , with effect from 11th October , 1965 .
2. Shri N. C. Rastogi , Controller of Imports , New Delhi and Shri A. Datta Majumdar , Assistant Press Registrar , Office of the Registrar of Newspapers for India , Ministry of Information and Broadcasting , New Delhi , who were appointed to exercise the powers of Controller under the sald Newsprint Control Order , 1962 , under the late Ministry of Commerce & Industry Notification No. 8 / 26 / 62- Import , dated the 11th October , 1962 and Ministry of Commerce Notification No. 8/ 26 / 62- Import , dated the 12th June , 1964 , respectively will also continue to exercise these powers .

ERRATA
In the Ministry of Commerce two Notifications of same No. 60 ( 97) Exp . Insp./65 , dated 11th October , 1965 , published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary , Part II , Section 3 ( 11 ) , dated 11th October , 1965 ( Issue No. 258 ) , S.O. Nos . of the respective notifications should be read as " 3165 " and " 3166 " instead of " 3164" and " 3165" respectively .
