In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 22 of the Representation ofof the People Act ,People Act , 1951 , thethe Election Commission here- by directs that the following amendments shall be made in the Table appended to its Notification No. 434/ MD / 63 ( 2 ) , dated the 11th November , 1963 , namely :-
For the existing entries in column 2 against the constituencies numbered 15 and 16 the following shall be substituted :-
15. 1. Revenue Divisional Officer , Salem .
2. Revenue Divisional Officer , Salem .
3. Commissioner , Salem Municipality.
16. 1. Revenue Divisional Officer , Sankari .
2. Revenue Divisional Officer , Mettur .
