In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 126 - J of the Defence of India Rules , 1962, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Jasjit Singh , Director of Revenue Intelligence, Ministry of Finance ( Depart- ment of Revenue ) , as Administrator , with effect from the afternoon of the 26th October, 1965 , vice Shri B. N. Banerji .
