G.S.R. 1795. In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 26 of the Coir Industry Act, 1953 ( 45 of 1953 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Coir Industry ( Registration and Licensing ) Rules , 1958 with immediate effect , the same having been previously published as required by Sub - Section ( 1 ) of that Section , namely:-
RULES
1. These rules may be called the Coir Industry (Registration and Licensing ) Fourth Amendment Rules , 1965 .
2. In the Coir Industry ( Registration and Licensing ) Rules , 1958 , in rule 19 (1) in clause ( 1 ) -
(a) in sub - clause ( a) , for the words " Twentyfive tonnes " the words "one hundred tonnes " shall be substituted ;
(b) in sub - clause ( b ) , for the words " one hundred tonnes " , the words "five hundred tonnes " shall be substituted ;
(2) in clause ( ii ) --
(a) in sub- clause ( a ) , for the words " twentyfive tonnes " , the words " one hundred and fifty tonnes " shall be substituted;
(b) in sub - clause ( b ) , for the words " one hundred tonnes " , the words "seven hundred and fifty tonnes " shall be substituted.
