CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi , the 8th December 1965
G.S.R. 1829 -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 6 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , the Central Government hereby exempts cellulose acetate falling under Item No 15A of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act , 1944 ( 1 of 1944 ) , and used for the production of acetate yarn , from so much of the duty of excise leviable thereon as is in excess of 40 paise per kilogram .

G.S.R. 1830.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the -Central Excise Rules , 1944 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Fin- ance ( Department of Revenue ) No 38 / 65 - Central Excises , dated the 28th February , 1965 , namely : -
In the said notification , in the Table , in column ( 3) against Serial No. 2 - B ( iii ) , for the figures " 3.00 " , the figures " 250 " shall be substituted .
