NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 23rd December 1965
S.O. 3983. In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 8 of the Goa , Daman and Diu ( Laws ) Regulation , 1962 ( 12 of 1962 ) the Central Government hereby makes the following order namely:-
1. Short title and commencement . ( 1 ) This order may be called the Goa , Daman and Diu ( Removal of Difficulties ) Order 1965 .
( 2 ) It shall come into force at once .
2. President to be deemed to be a registered shareholder in respect of certain shares . As from the 20th December 1961 , the President shall be deemed to have been a registered shareholder in respect of the shares held by the erstwhile Government of Goa in the company known as ESTALEIROS NAVAIS DE GOA and the President shall be deemed to have , for all purposes , the rights and privileges of a shareholder of that company .
