G.S.R. 1898.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 25 , read with sub - section ( 3 ) of section 160 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , the Central Government , being satisfied that it is necessarysary in the public interest so to do , hereby makes the following amendment in the noti- fication of the GovernmentGovern of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue) No. 88 - Customs , dated the 7th July, 1962 , namely :-
In the said notification , for the figures , letters and word " 31st December, 1965 " , the figures , letters and word , " 31st December , 1966 " shall be substituted .
